Letifer looked up. Their enemy was nowhere in sight. She let out a soft sigh, the she fell back to the ground, colapsing into the soft snow below her. Her whole body hurt. She felt the blood slowly running from her wounds.
"Le......ti....fer......."
She heard a soft, but broken and pained vioce calling her name.
Letifer turned her head carefully into the direction the voice came from.
"Tiftif....where are....you?"
The question came out almost as a whisper.
Letifer pulled herself up from the ground, slowly going to the white furball lying in the snow only a few metres away from her.
"Here....I'm....here..."
She finally reached the other wolf, colapsing to the snow once more.
"I'm....afraid...."
The white wolfs voice sounded broken and weak, as she slowly whispered those words.
"It's okay.... I'm.... here..."
Letifer saw her sight blurring, blood running through her eyes.
She rolled up beside the white, majestic wolf, and could feel her slowly getting cold, the life flowing out of the other body, and heard Lainésse's breath getting lower and lower.
"It's.... okay....."
